These are images with descriptions that I originally posted on my blog in my previous website after I led my very first WorldWide Photowalk for KelbyOne and Canon in 2016. Even though the participation was moderate, the cozy crowd allowed us to casually stroll down the Embarcadero Waterfront Promenade while capturing the iconic landmarks and architecture that is along the path of the walk.
This is one of my most visited venues for Engagement shoots I do for my couples and a very familiar one as I had worked in the Financial District for more than 15 years and witnessed its transformation since the 1990's.
I'm reposting the collection in my Works section in preparation for the 2017 WorldWide PhotoWalk. All of the images have the lens selection including the focal length, ISO, aperture, and the shutter speed used to take the image.
My advice to all walkers joining me for the 10th Anniversary Photowalk is to learn your camera the best you can. It doesn't matter whether you have a professional grade Interchangeable Lens Camera, Point-and-Shoot, or just a Mobile Phone. Many of these images can be taken with a modern mobile phone camera as these were all taken with natural available light. It's more important to understand the limits of your equipment and learn how to overcome it.
So bring your camera and wear your most comfortable shoes and aim and compose your viewfinder as you can only see it.
